Nel suo sforzo di rafforzare la diversità sulla sua rete durante la stagione autunnale 2019, la CBS ha lanciato quattro nuovi spettacoli con lead neri, tra cui All Rise, Bob Hearts Abishola, Magnum Pi e The Neighbourhood. All Rise è un dramma procedurale legale incentrato su un giudice appena nominato Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick) dopo aver avuto un periodo di successo come vice procuratore distrettuale. Nella prima stagione di All Rise, la serie ha seguito la vita caotica, piena di speranza e un po 'assurda di professionisti legali come giudici, pubblici ministeri, ufficiali giudiziari e così via. Lo spettacolo si concentra su Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick) che è un giudice appena nominato a seguito di un periodo di successo come vice procuratore distrettuale. La sinossi per la premiere in due parti della stagione 2, Lola e Mark cercano di ricostruire la loro amicizia dopo che Mark ha assistito a Lola detenuto durante una protesta mentre difendevano una ragazza adolescente in mezzo a un incontro crescente con la polizia, la linea di log per la prima parte recita. Like his co-star Missick, Bethel is also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having played Agent Benjamin Dex Poindexter on the Netflix original series 'Daredevil'. In 'All Rise', he plays the role of Mark Callan, Lola's best friend, and the Deputy District Attorney.

Ruthie Ann Miles

Ruthie Ann Miles is an actress known for her roles on television 'The Americans' and 'Elementary', and her theatre roles in 'Here Lies Love', 'The King and I', and 'Sunday in the Park with George'. In 'All Rise', she plays the role of Sherri Kansky, an experienced judge's assistant assigned to Judge Lola Carmichael despite their difficult relationship. Over the first season, Sherri's respect for Lola grows as they build a friendship.
